Watching Russia-Ukraine conflict is like reading a depressing thriller.. New information revealing every day as you explore and read!

1**Russia invaded Ukraine because Ukraine was about to join NATO and this created major security risk for Russia as missiles would be placed very close to Russian border.

2**Ukraine wanted to be part of EU as well as NATO and kept dreaming about both, in turn making Russia restless with security concerns

3**NATO kept on promising Ukraine about making them ‘one of us’. But apparently, they never wanted it to be a reality, they just wanted to spook Russia enough.

4**Russia funded climate activists and they in turn stopped oil and gas production in western Europe and whole of EU along with US became dependent on Russia for energy.

5**Russia invaded Ukraine and then NATO went up in arms against Russia but only symbolically !

6**NATO countries put sanctions after sanctions on Russia, but no boots on ground in Ukraine.. They decided to show solidarity with words and sanctions and nothing much.

7**Sanctions aside, US and most western European countries continued to pay billions of dollars to Russia because of their dependence on Russian oil and gas.

8**Several US Corporates joined hands with US government and stopped business in Russia showing their strong opposition. This made several other ‘big user’ countries of these ‘Big Tech’ industry harshly aware about their daily dependence on them. It also forced many in India to imagine a scenario about their country or its regime where it is no more in good books of US of A

9**Western News Media brazenly turned racist in reporting. They lamented that this was no third world ‘Syria’, ’Afghanistan’ or African country that is being subjected to perils of war, but these are blue eyed, blond haired ‘people like us’ suffering..

10**US eventually decided to stop importing oil from Russia. Their new vendors being Venezuela and Iran !

11**India decided to remain neutral in this whole situation. But ‘global North’ is unhappy abut this stance and tried to put lot of soft pressure on India to speak against Russia. Well, Switzerland can be neutral as policy, but India cannot decide its own stand apparently..

12**Incidentally, China, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh happened to be on same side even with their individual preferences. China openly supported Russia and rest remained neutral.

13**As we know now, Ukraine is finally disillusioned and does not want to be part of NATO or EU , both ! This realization came after death, destruction and almost 1 million Ukrainians fled the country.

14**USA has accepted that they have bio-labs in Ukraine working on pathogens, the 'work' that cannot happen on US soil !
